In the rich storytelling tradition of African American culture, Downtown Muskogee, Inc. will host a Soulful Stories Evening with professional storyteller Dwe Williams. Her story will tell of Bass Reeves, one of the greatest law enforcement officers to ever serve in Indian Territory and on the Muskogee Police force. A soul food meal will be part of the evening. Tickets are $15 and reservations are required.
